my husband works for Sbarro. When he told me they were going to build a Sbarro in israel I thought it would be great if we went and he ran the Sbarro. We did not go, but i still fanatased about moving to israel. Now i keep a memo from the company expressing their sympathy to the victims. this incident has really stuck with me, but it hasn't change my feelings for wanting to move to israel. I can only pray that when we are ready to move there will be an israel to move to -0/9-/2001 |

I was very saddened by the news of what is going on in Israel. That poor girl who is left without her mother & father. My heart goes out to her & her surviving brothers. - S. A. -0/9-/2001 |

Please know that there are those - like myself - who as non-Jews are praying for the nation of Israel and its people. I just wanted to write to say just that. I prayed and asked why are they hated so and I believe I am shown
it is because of how close to G-d the
true Jewish believers are in their faith. Please know you are prayed for -with love. I am in tears as I read this article. Truth..

Rebbetzin Jungreis is so eloquent, even at a time like this. May her words be a source of chizuk to us all, and may they serve to ensure that these precious neshamot were not taken in vain. -0/9-/2001 |

I am awe struck by the words of this unusual and brave child. I am equally awe struck and deeply touched not only by the upclose and personal view of the author but the bravery and selflessness
in Rebbetzin Jungreis's delivery to us, by virtue of the parallel in the same tragic history the author and this young girl share. When seeing the graphic images on the front page of the New York
Times after this horrible atrocity happened, anger and frustration filled every vessel of my body. After reading this article I am in great pain, the kind of pain one feels by the loss of a family member, a parent, a brother, a sister a cousin. Yes, the Jewish people are ONE family. I am reminded of the words in Jeremiah,"And I will give them ONE heart" Please G-d, help us find the
love in our hearts for one another bypassing interdenominational rifts, divisiveness, and indifference. Show us our strength in diversity. Help us not simply to hear but to listen instead to the voices and the words of the children in order to recognize what each of us has to fulfill as our mission as a people in these days preceeding moshiach.

This is a beautiful article. It broke my heart reading about the suffering of the Jewish people in Jerusalem and Israel. The author focusing on this child Chaya and the tragedy of the vicious murder of her family and their display of faith in G-d as they encountered the bomb blast is so moving that I do not have words to properly describe this event and its outcome. I continue to pray for the Peace of Jerusalem...M.Redman - M. R. -0/9-/2001 |
