Baruch HaSheim! You are very wise my friend and I have been blessed by this teaching. Small things are the ONLY thing! "Miracles" in a persons life are often only realized from hindsight. You turn and see many, many, very insignificant circumstances that all culminated at the moment you bent over to tie that 1/2 broken shoe lace, that broke stepping off the bus, when you enarly tripped and broke your neck, only to be saved by a woman with a bag of groceries. But after stopping to help her pick them up you were nearly late for your transfer, so you run through the station (not realizing you dropped a $5 bill, which a beggar found and ate lunch for the first time in a week) arriving just a minute to spare you notice your broken lace - as you bend to tie it - a terrorist bomb explodes and a 2' piece of steel lodges in the wall jsut above your head, but you were bent over and that becomes a Miracle! Discipline is everything small and nothing big, until united. 99 out of 100 sheep is a small one missing, but it's huge if it's your 10 month old baby girl who just got shot in the head by a PLO terrorist - who would not mourn a 100 years to bring back just that one sheep? Judaism is small communities of Jews living small lives in comparison ot the world, but force us all together in a concentration camp and you will see unity the world has never known. The small mitzvah of each individual, when combined in the sight of G-d, literallt preserve our whole nation and indeed the whole world. Who prays daily? If HaSheim requires a minyan before him every day and one day only one is missing - that's very small - but without the minyan HaSheim will bring wrath upon the people of the earth - now the one missing means the whole world! The sages teach us that if a man get only one other to turn and do t'shuva and observe, it's as if he saved the whole world. The smallest of goyim became Avraham Avinu and Israel, and our redemption will culminate in a single eved of HaSheim - the Mashiakh. There are not legions of Mashiakhim, only one, very small - but when he comes the whole world will come under the HaSheim through the King of Israel. It's because we are small we are chosen, small is humble and HaSheim gives hesed to the humble. Shalom
