OK, belief in justice of our cause, knowledge and pride and a firm hand on the wheel BUT whose hand? What is our plan, what are we to do when those in power don't see the cause and have forgotten the knowledge & pride of our heritage. Where is the unity? We are in the hand of Hashem yet ALL OF US must do our part and stand together. All I have heard lately is talk, where is the committed action? Enough with fence-sitting! -0/7-/2001 |

Bravo for telling us a camel is a camel!
Our course is as clear as "Pavlov's camels"
Once a camel is conditioned to a given response
and you want to change it (extinguish the
behavior) you have three options: 1) Continue
the same reinforcement, 2) Erratically
reinforce and not reinforce, or
3) STOP ALL REINFORCEMENT.
Once the Jews of the world tell the Arabs
of the world that: "THE PEACE PARTY IS OVER",
they will start to "extinguish" their behavior.
This is the fastest approach to an independent Israel.
Yes, at a terrible price initially but,
as the old saying goes:
"WHEN DO YOU WANT TO BE DISAPPOINTED?"

This is an important message, spelled out clearly. The question is - how does this information become disseminated to the secular press? Are they trying to avoid it due to political correctness to Arab, Moslem readers? -0/7-/2001 |

But by our "whistling in the dark" we avoided military confrontation with the "evil empire" and 50 years later it fell. Hopefully we can do the same with the Red Chinese and the Arabs. As economic conditions improve and democratic ideals infiltrate those totalitarian societies, they tend to fall on their own without our direct military intervention.

It literally brakes my heart when I sit down and think of all the attrocities the world has committed against Jews. - R. D. -0/7-/2001 |

When he took office Ariel Sharon remarked that it was very sad that Mr. Barak had based his recent government service on the false hypothesis that the Arabs want peace. The same comment applies to all of the Jewish people who were fooled by the Arabs' deceptions. The haftarah from last week's Parasha reminds us of how we must approach people who attack us. If we are strong, our enemies will cower and retreat. - Y. A. -0/7-/2001 |
