I think it would help if Israel had a better press image. Why is is not in the press that Israel called before it bombed the palestinian TV station? why is it not explained in detail about the smuggling of arms and such thru tunnels? where are the pictures of the tunnels? we need to use the press the way the muslims do to promote our cause. And yes we are our own worst enemy. I think some are ashamed of surviving, but we must. We need better press and that is the bottom line.

Skoyach Rabbi. May you be blessed to continue spreading truth and rightousness for many, many years.

I agree wholeheartedly with Rabbi Wein. The danger to Jews these days is not from without, but within. The same comments can be made of American Jews. A poison seems to have been introduced into the Jewish psyche by those in Academia and the Left. The poison being their rejection of Jewish values and Jewish identity.

Dear Rabbi: Well said indeed. Israelis have no present option, short of an ill-advised, all-out preemptive war, other than to fire back when fired upon. Also important, I think, is to keep talking to Israel's enemies between the shots and explosions, and to invest in an effective pro-Israel propaganda campaign. Peace requires the maintenance of overwhelming military and technological superiority, a much higher Jewish birth rate, and a compassionate, insightful and no-nonsense dialog even with those of Israel's enemies who feel that there is no alternative to the destruction of Israel. That is no small ordere. There can be no peace for Israel without faith, solidarity, and the continued pursuit of military and moral strength. The problems are substantial but not insurmountable. As always in the past, Israel shall long require an abundance of both muscle and mazel. Talk, like the air we breath, is cheap, but essential. Shalom!
