I personally think freezing DNA of endangered speices is like saying 'what the heck we'll fix it later. It also verges on an attempt to play G-d.The real problem is us and our relationship to our maker. We shake our fist at heaven and say the secret things will be ours also. The verse in Deuteronomy says 'the secret things belong to G-d'-not us.
