I couldn't agree more. Just yesterday I went in to the principal of my daughter's school to thank him for a lovely note he had written thanking me for coaching the math team. I thought he would plotz - most of the time all he gets is tsoros and kvetching - and I know I made his day (and mine too). Too often we forget that the little things are the biggest blessing of all.

That was beautiful. Hakarat Hatov is so important. Besides recognizing the good things that happen, we should definately recognize the people that help them happen. More often than not we write a Senator or Congressman to express our shock and outrage than to support his or her positive policies. We need to take out the time to say, "Thank You." - S.
