The HaLashon class is based upon the work
"Chafetz Chaim" written by
Rabbi Yisrael Meir Kagan, more commonly known as
the Chafetz Chaim due to the popularity of his book. The phrase Chafetz Chaim
comes from Psalms 34:13 - "Who is the man that desires life (hechafetz
chaim), who loves days to see good? Guard your tongue from evil and your lips
from speaking guile...."
