We’re taught that the G-dly component of our soul has certain “flights” of its own, though we can barely fathom what they’d be like. We might think it couldn’t possibly, since it’s still-and-all attached to our mortal beings and thus to this world. But know that our G-dly components are still connected to the higher realms despite their associations “down here”.

Now, those utterly “otherworldly” experiences of our higher self *do* leave impressions behind, but only in our unconscious minds. And only in the very most subtle of ways. As hunches, vague senses of this or that, inchoate whispers.

This series is dedicated to the memory of Yitzchak Hehrsh ben Daniel, and Sarah Rivka bas Yaakov Dovid.
