There are other, momentous differences between how Moses communed with G-d and how other prophets did.
For the others could receive their messages at any time and without warning — which is to say, passively and only when G-d deemed it important to summon them. While Moses could summon G-d on his own, if you will, and ask things of Him spontaneously.
And whereas other prophets only received the messages G-d judged it essential for them to have right there and then, Moses was privy to nearly anything and everything. “All keys were placed in his hands”, as the expression goes; and he was thus able to achieve levels of understanding far beyond human ken.
